Do you ever just catch your breath long enough to exhale, "What a day!"?  I guess I should be saying, "What a year!"  I think the last time I updated my site was the week I started it.  Everything keeps moving faster and faster, and sometimes I feel like I'm swimming against the current.  There seems to be no time for reflection. 

I've started teaching a basic Witchcraft 101 course comprised of 13 lessons requiring a minimum of 2 weeks study each.  While creating the study guides for one of the lessons on meditation, I realized I wasn't really taking a moment just to be, anymore.  The Universe tapped me on the shoulder to remind me to take care of myself... again.  It lights me up so much to teach and do for others that I forget to do for me.

While I'm doing for me... I want to take a moment to thank my family.  Link, we are so many miles from where we began.  You didn't know the amusement park your life would become, and though you resist change at every turn... still, here you are.  And to my children-- how resilient you are!  How indestructable your wills and spirits!  Boy, even in the face of diversity you can be incredibly stubborn.  Jonathan, you really are my sunshine, and Lillian, you really are my stars and moon. 

Hang in there.  The path which leads us home is rarely clear, and never easy.

My name is Lilith, and I live in Surprise, AZ with my life partner, Link.  We have two children, Jonthan (10) and Lillian (almost 2), 2 puppies, Milo (mini dachsund) and Rose (poodle/terrier mix), 2 rats, Lucha and Spot (dumbo ear), 2 cats, Sid (Siamese) and Rowan (tabby mix) and 2 birds, Baby (umbrella cockatoo) and Petey (blue-crowned conure).

I am the owner of a small home-based (for a little longer) business which hand-crafts all-natural bath, body and metaphysical supplies called Naturoma Spa.  The aim of Naturoma Spa is to put nature's natural healing properties into the hands of everyone looking for alternatives, present them at prices everyone can afford and TEACH people to treat their entire being-- mind, body and spirit.  When the brick-and-mortar shop opens in 2008, it will be a "store" unlike any other.  We will carry some metaphysical supplies and herbs, but the basis of the store is healing.  There will be rooms where people can come to meditate, have a mud treatment, a therapeutic massage, acupuncture/accupressure, reiki, aura cleansing, ayurvedic detox, and chakra balancing.  There will also be a library, where people can come to do research and make photocopies.  There will be a tea and coffee bar as well as live performances scheduled throughout the year.  Naturoma Spa will regularly teach classes and workshops that are FREE to the public, regardless of religious background.  Naturoma Spa is partnered with a non-profit group which provides direction and social services to homeless children/runaways, so that they may come for help without the uncomfortable expectation that getting help is based on their willingness to accept a particular faith.  The website is not yet fully functional, but you can visit to request a free catalog of our products at www.naturomaspa.com .
